About the event

Brightside is a celebration of feeling good in your own skin, the positive impact of exercise on mental health, and the belonging that can only be found sweating it out with a bunch of strangers. This spin class and theatre-show explores the world of ‘Generation Me’ soundtracked by a Millennial anthem. 

Taking part

To take part in this performance you must be able to sit on a bike. Don't worry if you have never taken part in a spin class before the performance is suitable for complete beginners as well as those that are spin pros!

Please wear comfortable exercise clothing, special spin shoes that clip into the bike will be provided for you at the venue, remember to wear socks! Do bring a bottle of water as it will get hot!

You should arrive at least 15 min before the performance starts so that you have enough time to get set up on your spin bike.

There will be no entry once the performance has started.

You will have access to changing facilities and lockers at the venue.

This performance takes place at RYDE Studios but is not an official RYDE class.

Accessibility & Advisories

There are 10 steps to access the venue, once in the venue all areas have flat access.

For this performance you will need to be able to sit on a bike. You will be given assistance to set up the bike so that it is comfortable for you. You will be able to set your own pace and resistance throughout.

The performance includes projection and flashing lights.

There will be an access assistant on hand throughout the performance, if you need a break at any point there is a chill out area available.
