Creative Learning

Let culture loose in your school, excite learners, and support the development of inspirational learning experiences during our Year of Culture.

Help young people to build their experience with creative activities

We’ve developed a free, inclusive creative learning programme to give children and young people a chance to take part in our Year of Culture.

From creative workshops and participatory challenges to classroom resources and activities, there’s something for every key stage. And we’ve linked back to the curriculum, so you can be confident that your students’ experiences will align with learning goals.

Mother Tongue Other Tongue Anthology

We're thrilled to present Mother Tongue Other Tongue, a multilingual poetry anthology by young people aged 8-18.

It's split into two sections, Mother Tongue and Other Tongue. The first half contains poems and songs in a variety of heritage languages with a commentary in English. The second half features original poems by students written in a language they are learning.
