Adam Sas-Skowronski

Adam has been working as a performance maker and theatre technician for over 8 years and has been a key part of the Leeds Beckett University technical team for the past 6 years. He has collaborated with local, national and international artists as a technician and digital artist. Much of Adam’s work has involved working with students and the academic team on countless projects. Adam has focused his skills on the digital side of theatre tech and ar production, working with interactive apps, multi screen experiences, and hybrid events.

Recently graduating from a Master Degree in Performance, Adam has spent the last few years making digital art as part of the collective Closed Forum, with artist Matt Allen. The projects have utilised numerous digital platforms and the work has included live streaming, developing apps and creating new video games.

Having moved to the UK and Leeds in 2010, Adam has adopted the city as his home and has fallen in love with Leeds and its fascinating history, culture, and people. He is eager to give back to the city that has welcomed him, to bring a year of culture that everyone can be proud of.
