The Leeds 2023 bid team is proud to launch a new fund to support the city’s artists, creators and makers to explore new collaborations with international partners, as the city develops its bid for the European Capital of Culture title.
Explore, the new capacity building fund will support artists and organisations from across the city to strike up new partnerships and collaborations with their counterparts from across Europe and the world. - Big Explorers –artists and organisations wishing to undertake an extended stay or residency with international partners can apply for up to £3,000 towards the costs of their travel.
- Small Explorers – artists and organisations wishing to meet with international partners for a short period of time to explore potential opportunities for collaboration.
- Hosting Explorers – Leeds welcomes artists and organisations from across the world, this element of the fund can assist with artists and organisations hosting partners in Leeds.
